1. The time flies on and death draws nigh; Unite us, Lord, with Thee on high! Prepare us now to live with Thee Forever in eternity!
2. Thou knowest, Lord, the ev’ry need Of them who for Thy mercy plead. With helping hand Thine aid bestow To guide Thy children here below.
3. Deny us not the truth and light, Thy precious gift so clear and bright, The word of truth to teach us true, And nourish heart and soul anew.
4. The righteous host enlighten Thou, And with Thy blessings all endow. Thy little fold do Thou still bless With steadfast faith and holiness.
5. Thy blessings in each house shall reign; And may Thy flock increase and gain. O, Lord, from Thee all blessings flow Which cause good works to thrive and grow!
6. Grant to Thy servants grace and might And wisdom, working virtues bright, That in this time good seeds they sow From which eternal fruits may grow.
7. The treasure of pure love anew Preserve among Thy children true! Let not their innocence depart, But guard and hallow every heart!
8. O, may young men devote in truth To Thee the flower of their youth; Be maidens’ beauty holiness, The fear of God their glorious dress!
9. By word and deed is brought to light How Thy great name is glorified. And pure and clean our life shall be, A living witness, Lord, for Thee.
10. O, sanctify our heart and mind, That we, Thy chosen ones, may find The path from this turmoil on earth To God’s bright home of peace and mirth!
