1. Not of earth and not of heaven Is my thought and my desire; I wish that to me be given Jesus Christ, whom I admire. Be my heart His habitation, Gift of highest valuation; Jesus Christ, my Lord, shall be All and ev’rything to me!
2. When my soul and body languish, Doubts and fears upon me press, Yet my heart shall feel no anguish, For Christ’s love does me refresh. He’s my joy and consolation In my fear and tribulation. Jesus Christ, my Lord, shall be All and ev’rything to me!
3. In my weakness He’s my power; In the darkness He’s my light; And when good deeds are accomplished, It is only through His might. What good things my heart desires, It in Jesus Christ acquires. Oh, the joy that He shall be All and ev’rything to me!
4. What a great and heav’nly blessing, Loving Jesus Christ alone! All the precious gifts possessing Which God sends unto His own. Only through our Lord and Saviour Comes each heav’nly gift and favor. Jesus Christ, my Lord, shall be All and ev’rything to me!
