1. Blessed, holy is the hour When we, Jesus, think of Thee, And Thy word in godly power Hear and in our hearts receive. So we pray to Thee, imploring, Open Thou our understanding! May we hear, as Mary heard, Sacred teachings of Thy word.
2. May it reach our hearts, we pray Thee; On good soil may it take root. With Thy heav’nly blessings nourished, May it bring the pleasing fruit. May we all in richest measure, Lord, to Thy great joy and pleasure, As Thy plants of honor grow! Amen! Yea, Lord, be it so!
Special thanks to the Apostolic Christians who diligently labored to keep their rich musical heritage alive when most other denominations forsook it in the challenging battle of changing cultures. Thanks be to those souls who labored to write and compose this treasure of praise, many now only known to GOD!
