1. Love, who fashioned me, the likeness of Thy God-head here to bear Me from fall and from transgression didst restore with tender care: Love, I give myself to Thee, Thine to be eternally.
2. Love, by which I was selected ere I saw the light of day; Love, whose goodness was reflected in man’s likeness and array; Love, I give myself to Thee, Thine to be eternally.
3. Love, which for my sin did suffer and which died, that I might live; Love, which grace to all does offer and eternal peace does give; Love, I give myself to Thee, Thine to be eternally.
4. Love which overcame and conquered my perverse and wayward heart; Love, by which I’m bound and anchored that from Thee I would not part; Love, I give myself to Thee, Thine to be eternally.
5. Love, that ever shall continue step by step doth gently lead; Love, that sayeth: “Peace be with you,” and for me doth intercede; Love, I give myself to Thee, Thine to be eternally.
