The Lord is my Shepherd; no want I’ll suffer;
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures, and leadeth me by the still waters. He my soul in peace restoreth. He leadeth me on righteous pathways To His name’s praise and honor. And though I walk in the vale of darkness here, I need fear no evil, for Thou art with me, for Thou art with me. Thy rod and Thy staff comfort me. Thou preparest a table for me in the face of my foes. Anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy follow me all the days of my life and thus shall I dwell in God’s holy house now and forevermore. In God’s holy house evermore.

Der Herr ist mein Hirte, mir wird nichts mangeln!
Er weidet mich auf einer grünen Aue and führet mich zum frischen Wasser; Er erquicket meine Seele; Er führet mich auf rechter Straße um Seines Namens willen. Und ob ich schon wanderte in finstern Tal, fürchte ich kein Unglück, den Du bist bei mir, denn Du beist bei mir; Dein Stecken und Stab trösten mich. Du bereitest vor mir einen Tisch gegen meine Feinde; Du salbest mein Haupt mit Öl und schenkest mir voll ein. Gutes und Barmherzigkeit werden mir folgen mein Leben lang, und ich werde bleiben im Hause des Herrn immerdar, im Hause des Herrn immerdar, im Hause des Herrn immerdar.

Mi fiel pastor Él es. Nada me falta;
me guiará a sin igual pradera, me llevará a frescas aguas. Pues recrea Él mi alma, condúceme por buen camino. Hoy ya honrad su nombre. Y aunque yo ande en oscuridad no habra miedos en mí, pues Tú estarás, conmigo Señor; consuelo en Ti yo tendré. Una mesa me_has de preparer ante mis contrarios. Con gracia me_ungiste Tú y todo el bien das. Paz, consuelo siempre das; toda mi vida me seguirán y yo quedaré siempre en casa de mi Señor. En casa de Dios estarré, en eternidad moraré.

Ő zöld mezőkön engemet legeltet, és elvezérel hűs forráshoz. Felvidítja az én lelkem: az Ő nevéért vezet engem az igazság ösvényén. Ha járnék a halálnak völgyében én, gonosztól nem félek, mert vélem Te vagy, mert vélem Te vagy, és botod, veszsződ vigaszt ád. Számomra Te asztalt terítesz elleneim előtt; olajjal kened fejem, és innom adsz bőven.
